For a long time, I was hesitant to work in watercolor, but I've learned the joy of letting go of control and seeing what happens. Whether I'm painting fantasy art, portraits or wildlife, I love being able to carry a few light supplies and paint anywhere. If I have an idea, I tend to give it a try in watercolor first.

I'm inspired by the work of Omar Rayyan. Omar and Sheila (who does magnificent pencil work) create wonderful paintings, offer great advice and are terrific people.
